Stay on the Trail to Good Health

We humans are designed to walk, work and play outdoors. And yet so much of modern life requires sitting—in front of a computer, behind a steering wheel, at the dinner table. And how do we unwind from the stress of all this sitting still? We sit some more, eating, drinking and watching other people’s reality on television—hardly a path to optimal health and wellness.

To counteract these realities of modern life, there’s no healthier activity than to get on your feet, get out in Nature, and take a hike. As the French say, Un jour de marche, huit jours de sante. “A day of walking, eight days of health.”
